Well talked to my buddy last night he’s made me an offer I can’t refuse. Help him build a d44 for his rig and swap his 302 out for a built one off one of his racing projects. Here’s the doner and the axel

Scored seats. Gonna redo them in parchment. Twin sticks work well shifter is ok. Need shifter boot. Gonna use a Toyota boot. Also mocking up a console In wood. Gonna build one out of diamond plate. The vendors don’t have on that works with bulk head and I only have 21” of room. So I’ll custom build one. Also did repairs on core support it only had one vertical bar so I added 3 more along with radiator hangers Want to get roll bar or cage But Don’t want to break the bank. Anyone have the wild horses San Felipe. How is it. Close to removing body one last time. Wish me luck.

Busy weekend. Finished console fabbed a roll bar installed seat belts. Didn’t like through bolts on belts so I drilled back of roll bar put in solid metal plug and welled it in then tapped it to receive mounting bolt for shoulder belt. Need power steering gear then I can take body off and finish frame. Was thinking of going with the Borgson steering gear. Any thoughts on that. Or a better cheaper solution without many mods. Here are some pics.
