That's a great looking '73! .. and welcome Kim! For $12 you can be a 'contributor' and load pics directly on the site. Nevertheless, welcome to the addiction!

Thanks for the welcome, folks.
Still recovering from the WHAT HAVE I GOTTEN MYSELF INTO aspect of a purchasing a 42 year old truck - but excited by the rig I have to start with. EVERYTHING, except the recovered seats, is original and my intention is to turn her into a good driver while maintaining as much of the original car as possible. This rust-free vehicle spent much of its life in Texas. It has 114,000 miles. Paint has a nifty patina that I plan to leave as is. First projects will all be mechanical. Car just sat all winter long and was delivered straight from a frigid upstate NY location so she seems cranky right now. I have decided to send her to a Bronco "specialist" to help me formulate a plan of attack. But, I suspect some of the things on my to do list will be...Carb, suspension, wiring, etc.

Also, the carpets are kinda rank - and I guess I need to pull them out....but...I'm actually afraid to!

Welcome, it'll be good to have another female around here!

Do you have a list yet of the things you're going to fix up/replace/etc?
