Curious if anyone has used a centerforce clutch in M5R2 swap. Looking to upgrade and looking for specs to see if 11" used in a 351 f150 would have been M5R2. I have found specs and the torque rating varies. Was thinking about a 95 F150 5.8 5speed as a centerforce part number to use?

1997 F150 5 speed 5.8L? That should be for an M5OD-R2, so that clutch should work.

I thought the F150 dropped the Windsor in 1996? Looks like DF226049 would be the best bet based on 1995. Claims 471 lb ft capacity in specs.

Anyone ever use dual friction in a bronco? Are they smooth or jumpy and chattery?

And the 250 was still the old body style with Windsor also. I stayed away from those as I thought they would be the ZF. Same 11" clutch though?

The stock LUK doesnt have enough holding power for my combo.

From what I've read, heard, seen(at bone yards) they never put the M5OD behind a 351(5.0 or 4.9) - that would have been a ZF or something else. 11" clutch may fit & work it's just not something Ford did from the factory.

11 inch was common in trucks. Most of the flywheels were dual pattern. I have an 11 inch LUK in there now and it's done really well. I did some damage when I was running 3.50 gears and now If I launch right When the tires bite and the axle doesn't hop the clutch will slip and I have to lift. Couldn't remember the application I used when I did install so thanks! Looking at below as replacement. Claims 471 lb ft holding power.

i used a clutch for a STOCK BRONCO and it worked just fine. the first one i put in was ,the 3 finger one that i had because i was strapped for cash it worked but was extremely hard to push down. then i replaced it with a new diaphragm style and a new flywheel that were for the stock bronco. i have had no issues with it either. and yes i have a 94 351 with an M5OD-R2
