Is the hard top the same for all 66-77 models meaning you can interchange them?

Yes but the bolt holes at the windshield changed when the eb went from vacuum to electric wipers. Some new holes drilled should fix that.

There are some other differences like the rear tailgate seal, the rear tailgate handle(?), more or less support bows, etc....
But I believe the only difference you need to worry about is the mounting at the windshield where you will need to drill marching holes.

What he said. Lots of little differences - especially in the liftgate area, but the main difference is the tops that came with vacuum equipped wiper Broncos vs. electric. Drilling the second bolt pattern in either the top or the windshield frame takes care of this.
