Every year I tell myself I got to get me a glass bronco so I don't have to drive a nice clean one around. Do they make doors now too? I know they stopped for awhile.

Hey rev, does Bronco design have you on his payroll or do you sell on commission.;D

Neither actually, I have seen his shop, his products, and the quality that goes into each piece he makes, So with that I give it the Revelation Stamp of Approval.

I haven't been to his shop yet but I sure like his product, it looks beyond nice and he is doing much more than the other glass manufactures and I personally;) agree with you. I just might own one of his half cabs before my build is done.

I did deliver one of his half cabs over the summer to 72beater here in Florida, I was up there and headed back. the half cab is nice, even has an air pocket between the inner and outer shell, and can be installed so the top can remain on the truck and everything else removed, A Glass Bikini Top! you can PM him and see how he likes it.

If you want a Bronco as a valuable investment/showpiece then it should be original steel. I don't plan to ever sell my Bronco, so if it has less retail value I don't care. I put the glass body on mine 26 years ago. My $.02.

I love my glass and it aint fer sale so, aint worried about selling value!

I know for a fact that glass is better on trails, I bumped a pine tree my first OCBR left a black mark on it which we put a band aid on for laughs. The beautiful baby blue bronco behind me also hit it with steel, steel went to the body shop!

I have both, the steel one is driven daily, the glass one is for fun.

For me it was a necessity. I was scared to drive my steel one 6 months out of the year for fear of the salt monster. With the glass one I just purchased it can be driven and enjoyed year-round. I still worry about the drivetrain but its a lot easier keeping that clean.

In my opinion if you're not staying 100% original a fiberglass body doesn't detract from the value if its done right.

And yes, you can get fiberglass doors (bronco design makes them) and fiberglass tops too.
