Here's some pics of tuning with Moates Qtrhorse, Binary Editor, TunerRT and software compatibility issues with FTDI Drivers & Windows not talking!

Hours and hours- close to 20 with 2 buddy's helping hard!! to figure it out. Thanks Tim & Larsq

Random pics with short videos.

Can't spin tires or hit the rev limiter when doing this. Also, just accelerated "medium" to try to replicate a hesitation I get around 4400rpm

Haltech always looked great but I would love to not be a tuner! Bit harder with my engine combo I'm sure tho.

Remote tuners are easy to find.

Same with me, I pay for a remote tuner while I drive around. Then I monkey with it after.

Agreed, easy to find but harder to get them to do anything after you pay them! :(

(Not talking about Garry efiguy).

How complicated does it have to be? I mean just because it adjusts 80,000 parameters does it make make it run better? Seriously asking...

Tunning is fairly easy. Most of the fuel and spark maps are pre made, they just tweak them here or there. Then you just adjust cells, the ecus are also getting smarter, they can self tune a little. The next generation will all be AI driven, and should be a huge step forward.

Each motor wants a little something special. My 240z likes a richer mixture, lots of spark etc..

Here is my Z running vintage period correct ITBs. Wild that Nissan/ Datsun had ITB in the early 1970s.

Haltech, but also learning emtron. I plan to switch my 240z to emtron. It has a much smarter model/ method for tuning.
Emtron looks interesting. The premier ECMs really run into the money and I’m guessing they are aimed at high end use as they have more i/o than I can even imagine using. The SL series is less money but still looks pretty capable. I can’t imagine paying 5000$ for a dash display though! I’d like to try out the software but don’t have a newer Windows machine available at the moment. Thanks for posting that up!

Yeah, the more I've been forced to look at it the easier it "seems" to be.

I agree with the 240 over the 260 or 280 but that 300... that's pretty wicked! :) Hard to beat classic tho!
