Retractable Steps

OK, I bought my steps about a month ago. Today I ordered the support bracket from Nick. Anyone have pointers or suggestions for installation, wiring , etc. I have not even opened the box yet. Any input would be appreciated. Soon to be for sale, Stainless Nerf Bars from Tom's.

The brackets took a bit of work to fit in there but they fit and work excellent. My kit from BC Broncos came with a lot of extra wire so I shortened all that to make it neat. The 4 bolts are big! I got mine in there but you really have to be careful. The brackets make a nice template to mark all the holes. Take your time, it’s fairly straight forward.

Thanks Kane. Nick said his bracket has 1/2" holes for the bolts. I thought, did he say 1/2". That is pretty big.

Yes they are big!! I couldnt for the washers but I didn’t feel omitting them was a big deal. You’ll love them when you get them going!

Ok I got it open and halfway figured out. Anyone got any recommendations for a door ajar or trigger switch? How long are your steps? Any help appreciated.
