Loss of a well loved Bronco Brother

For those who haven't heard, we've lost a long time Bronco Brother and friend to many.

Donnie Sims passed away Friday night, in his favorite coon hunting spot in the mountains. Many will remember him from Super Celebration as he was there for every single one.

Many times when people pass on, we hear they always had a smile on their face. Well Donnie legitimately did. He was as friendly and kind as anyone if ever met.

Please say a prayer for the family. He and his son John were very close, and he was just at his house shortly before helping on a project.

Thanks for starting this thread Jimmy. This hit me like a train Saturday morning and I couldn't bring myself to do a thread on Donny. He was absolutely tops!...the best guy you could ever have as a friend! Words are insufficient to describe Donny..

Tracey Sims and John are also of the same extraordinary character! We feel for anyone that knew Donny because he can't be replaced! At times like this, we realize that we are all mortals!

Well said Dennis. My heart sunk when I found out yesterday. I didn't even feel right making this thread. But I decided people should know and he should have as much respect shown as possible.

Sad news for sure......some folks just make an impact on everyone they meet, and our worlds are the better for it. You just never know when that time will be, so don't hold back on the call, help, hug for those you care about.

If you didn't know Donny you missed the chance to have a good friend. He was always at Super Celebration, made it to several OCBRs, events at Windrock, Bronco Safari, and Super Celebration West. He and his wife were always out taking a cruise through the mountains in one of their Broncos.
