Thanks rydog, but I think I’m going to rattle can them with black hammer tone. At least I’ll see if that looks alright. Worst case I’ll just blast them again and start over.

These pics aren’t the greatest, but it looks good in the sun. Black hammer tone on everything trim related except for the flares. Not sure if I want to paint them or not. Suggestions?

If you use bronco by design fiberglass flares they will not chip.....

Already went with Wild Horses’ Gorillas. Those things are very nice. My originals were the old while fiberglass, I think made by Duff. I would have reused them, but the PO butchered the quarters.

Gonna be somewhere between $5 & $6k, probably closer to six since I keep asking them to fix body line issues.

Painting has finally started! This stuff was done Friday and the body should be shot today.

P.S. Does anyone have a diagram to help me put the tailgate back together? LOL, the innards specifically.

Indent in side latches go toward bronco long arm is driver side and hooks in top hole of handle. license plate light and bracket are pretty self explanatory , the eye in the spring goes towards driver side and the lower bracket that holds it has the 2 holes on top side one for screw and one for rubber bumper. At least that it is how my 67 was. Hope this helps.
