I like the looks of the Art Carr/Winters shifters myself. They have a purposeful, almost 'industrial elegant' look to them that I like. But they have been installed in a lot of trucks in recent years where they just don't match the vibe or the aesthetic of the vehicle, i.e. I don't feel like they have any place in a stock/stock-like build. They're much more suited in a vehicle with a more off road-themed usage scheme, paticularly if it's paying homage to off-road racing, which is where these shifters first appeared in the late '70s.

I need to get a pic, we have an early 70’s aircraft tug that has one on the Allison AT540. It’s sat outside fir decades, it still works flawlessly.

Speaking of that any antique 4x4 large truck restorer’s here? it has 2 Coleman steer axles that really need a home before we scrap it.

Are there any updates for those Art Carr shift consoles? I’ve been trying to figure out how to mount it because I want a center console.

Thanks

I would send DMs (or conversations, I guess they're now called here) with him to see if you can urge him along....$$ can be a great motivator :).
