I have a line on a 2000 4.0L 2wd Explorer 4r70w trans. From what I have read this will bolt up to a 351w, but I want to be 100%.

Nope. Needs to be the 5.0 block.

Wrong trans. Not a 4R70W.

The 4.0 is backed by an A4LD (or whatever the new name for it is). Will not bolt to the 351 (or 302 or 5.0 or just about anything other then a 4.0 V6).
