What’s the preferred backspacing for a 74 Dana 44?

Also it’s getting hard to find tires for 15” wheels

And I’d stay away from the BFG MTs
I have a set on my EB and Their new tread design
Is very squirrely
It’s all over the road and their old tread design was fine

I had no problem getting 31X10.50 15 BFG ATs at Walmart. They look and work great. Trends are something I tend to avoid and the politically correct is something I always avoid.

Looking good! What's the lift on those?

Green: 3 1/2" SL and 1" BL

Red: 1" BL. I have a WH 2 1/2" SL for it that I may put on. Not sure it needs the lift but it could use new springs! ;D

I have 2.5" Wild Horses spring lift and a 2" body lift. Trying to decide on 33s or 35s by 12.5, I don't think I could pull off 37's. Also don't want to compromise turning radius too severely.

We've all seen the video of the Jeep tumbling down Black Bear pass in the San Juan mountains, Jeeps can't turn for crap. I've done that route and can make most of those turns without backing up and want to keep as much of the tight radius as possible.

Now considering 15" or 17" rims -your 17's look real good!

I've had the crawler (green) Bronco on Black Bear a couple of times. The extended wheel base hurts my turning radius and I need to make multiple point turns on 3 or 4 of the switchbacks. Also to get 37's with my lift I had to cut flares all the way to the body line.
