Looks great! You can use a hair dryer (or carefully use a heat gun) to soften the seat covers. Makes it more pliable to work with and ends up being easier.

I like both sets of wheels- switch them up every 3 or 4 months!

I would also suggest calling some of the bronco vendors for different springs. 2" will get the truck level and will sag a bit over time.

really nice truck~

Fantastic job!

Thanks.

Thanks. I've been using a heat gun otherwise they never would have gone on. Do you think the seats will round out more like the originals look after some time?

Thanks. Swapping wheels periodically was my intention but I think I have an interested party on the slots so they may be going away. And I think I've found some new springs that will work so that is my next project along with some new Bilstein shocks.

Finished driver seat and got them both back in the truck today. Glad this project is over.

Slots will definitely look better with the black factory caps, or even the later chrome caps. I also think they look better "satin" than fully polished on the EB.

Did a little work today replacing the front springs. After talking to a couple of other Bronco owners and reading through some older posts here I decided to purchase the Moog CC810 springs. These are for a 1976 F150 V6 4x4. They are about 3/4" taller than the original and have a slightly higher spring rate. Before replacing the springs I had 6.5" between axle tube and frame. After replacing the springs I have 8" between axle tube and frame. Next up are new Bilstein shocks all the way around which are in route from Wild Horses.

Beautiful truck man.

I would totally powder coat that roof rack white and put it on that truck. I think it would look amazing.

Finished up a center console for the Bronco today. Main purpose was to gain drink holders and a little bit of storage. I like the look of the metal consoles the Bronco vendors sell but didn't think one would look very good in my truck. I was set on buying a console from Classic Consoles but he didn't have parchment vinyl to match the Bronco interior. I had leftover carpet and one of my old seat covers so I decided to give it a go. Here is how it came out.

Added some chrome to the Bronco recently to dress it up a little from the base model it is. Trim courtesy of Ford and bumpers are from Tom's.

That is one of the finest examples of an original Bronco that I have seen in a long time.

Been cleaning and detailing underneath the Bronco recently and this weekend I polished the passenger wheel well. Cleans up decent for its old age.

With cleaning everything up I'm trying to figure out what to do with inner fender where there was a rust spot that was cut out. Other side has some rust too though to a lesser extent but it hasn't been cut out like the driver side. Should I pull the fenders and have someone weld in patches? I don't want to do more harm than good with the original paint, fit and finish.
