Here is a picture of the front after I stripped the black paint off the bumper.

Cleaned up Ford lettering will look really good on there.

I can't believe that is the same bumper... Did he paint right over the chrome with no prep?

Yes. He did just paint right over the chrome. Took some stripper and cleaned it up in about 30 minutes.

I bet it would take more than a Stripper to clean ole S-n-S up...;):D

I think I actually gave ole socks-n-sandals a compliment on the paint job in a earlier post. That was before I got it under lights. Orange Peel galore. Good things it's orange. I am sure this clown is familiar with strippers but I've never know of any to clean someone up Lol!

Dont get me wrong on this I'm just throwing out some suggestions and not telling you what you should do to your Bronco, but if that is for your wife to drive I would get rid of that lift and go no more than 2.5". A 5.5" lift and a quick lane change = nothing but disaster.

The original plan was for us to get a bronco that could be a daily driver. Have scrapped that plan for now. In the future I would like to get it down to a 3" lift on some 33's. I'm throwing allot of money at it right now just trying to get it dependable and safe so really can't shell out for new tires. She works five minutes from the house so she will still drive it to work some. She is bad ass enough to handle it.

Heim Steering Mock up

I did a mock up of my Heim setup out of PVC pipe just to see if there were going to be any issues with the TRO setup before i had it welded. Might possibly need a track bar riser. I can do Tie Rod under setup and avoid the need for a track bar riser. Decisions.. decisions...

Do the riser you will be glad you did. I did and the geometry worked out great and the bump steer is gone. The tie-rods are higher and safer from trail obstacles.

Keep at it. Looks like your upgrades are going to do the trick. Before long the nightmare from Princess will turn into a dream truck.

Installed new stainless braided front brake hoses last night. Now I have leaks in the metal brake lines feeding the hoses. It appears that I may end up replacing every brake related part. At least the P.O. had ran new brake lines to the rear.

after 45 years or so its not a bad thing to have a new solid brake system. If you have to spend unexpected money at least its in the right place. keep trudging forward it will get done in due time.

After checking (7) different parts houses I finally realized that I am going to have to make my own front brake lines. How dare me have SAE fittings and not metric.

Finished all the loose end on the exhaust. Not beautiful but I did it myself. I am sure I will make some changes in the future.

Installed a new master Cylinder yesterday. Sucked at least a pint of old cruddy brake fluid out of my power brake booster.
