Mecum Auto Auction in Denver

Hung out on Saturday at the Mecum auction at the Denver Convention Center. Was neat to see, lots of cars/trucks. Took a few photos. Seemed like a few of the Broncos were flips - quality wasn't great and lots of cover ups.

I can't stand the black stripes on the yellow one. Need to pull those off and paint the top white and maybe it would sell.

Do you know what these sold for? I only saw the brownish one go across the block. I believe it sold for $35,000.

Blue/WHite striped one didn't sell, High bid $39,000
Blue half cab sold for $25,500
Green one sold for $35,000
Brown one sold for $35,000

Man, people have overinflated values on their vehicles if they didn't grab the bids you mentioned--especially the yellow one. Personally I don't care what doo-dads someone has put on a truck or car--they just narrow the market for the seller. Funny how people are these days--both of those sellers will likely end up taking less in the long run....
