• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

The body will remain in tact but it will be painted a color of the wife's choosing as it's for her, and everything else will be upgraded.

I read it had a 70k reserve so I didn’t tune in live. I would have been very interested. Live and learn.

Great experience. Truck sat in my shop prior to the show, never dropped a dribble of anything. Drove it 300 miles.
I loaded on the transport truck, and off she went. The driver called me the next day said "How do I get it in gear?"
Flooded it, cant drive a manual choke Manuel shift.
We get to Fla, and she's resting in peace 4 hours before it hit the block.
I then see it being towed by a golf cart, with a RED plague in the window "Do not start gas leak"

WTF I say.
So I let it ride...... To ,many cooks in the kitchen trying to start/drive a 53 year old truck.
Ptices were low on everything, Bid goes on was pretty full.

Oh well. on to the next one.

Keep in mind, I didnt intend to sell it for $30k I could rolled it on eBay for that. With a sudden fuel leak, and 30 seconds to make a decision.
I also had 48 hours to move it. No transport will load a vehicle in 48 hours, nontheless with a fuel leak.

There were a lot of gotchas,

That really stinks man. I feel for you. I know I have the wrong personality to deal with selling at an auction even if that stuff didn't happen. If all that happened to me I would probably lose it. My 2 year old would have been excited as heck if I bought it though. His current favorite color is "lellow".

Yeah, they have you by the Balls. You hant have any resources to fix anything. You have 48 hours to get the truck off the site bought or sold, and 30 seconds to make that decision while a camera is on you or people yelling at you.

its all good. I talked to the owner, he got a great truck.

You never know with auctions. True story. I raise Ibex Goats. A few weeks ago, I put one on Wildlife Buyer. An internet animal auction. It sold for a little over $2500. The person that bought it waited 5 days before he was going to pick it up. I told him he would owe me $160 for keeping it the 5 days. He said he was not going to pay it and I said then you are not getting the goat. Wildlife Buyer could not come up with a solution and said that it was a no sale. I then put it back on Wildlife Buyer and it then sold for a little over $4500. So, the same goat $2500 and the next week $4500. You never know with auctions. All you need is at least 2 people that think they really need it.

The Saturday crowd was a lot better. Cars were selling $100k+. I saw only a couple cars that hit 100k Friday. Yesterday morning there were over 400 cars "Bid Goes On"
Crazy !!!!

You would have had so many more bidders with a reasonable reserve price. You probably left $5-$7K on the table with that crazy initial price.
