I started another thread about all the grief I get from my son and my father about not liking my wheels.

I have a spare 15x6 set of stock "steelies" and a really juicy set of 31x10.50-15 Michelins I picked up on craigslist. I'm thinking of painting the wheels off-white and putting them on.

Anyone running bigger tires on stock plain factory steel wheels?

Got Pics?

How much lift do these two Bronco's have?

The cut one is 3.5/2. I think the uncut had an old school 3" lift probably sagged to 2-2.5 (don't know what he had for sure though).

I just went to a salvage yard last week for a set of the stocker wheels. Thought it would be "yeah, we have a ton of them." It was more like "oh, we don't see many of them, maybe off an old econoline'. Good news is they were only going to charge me $20 per rim when they get some in. I don't why, I just love the plain look of the stock rims.
