Good morning,

I have a few questions pertaining to the amp power steps from Northeast.

1) Does anyone have any pics where they mounted the door sensor switch?
2) Anyone have any feedback how to wire the diodes for the lights?

I placed mine as seen in the pic and removed my tank switch selector and replaced it with an override switch.

No instructions came with the set you bought? Would think so.

No instructions for my AMP, but great instructions from Rock slide Engineering. I wonder if Rock Slide will support and EB - sure looks like it would fit?

I did my switches like Jasonmcc, but I think the way you did yours is better if you do any wheeling. I have to clean the switch assemblies every time after wheeling.

Great point especially if you wheel in mud. I’ve had the trigger stick a couple times in Moab and not want to drop down. Only took a minute to wipe off but if you’re around mud this would def be something I’d address (Relocate/housing).

Now you know why Jeep guys use Rock Slide Engineering instead of AMP. Never an issue with mud because the whole mechanism is enclosed internal to the mount. When the RS does get packed with mud just open it an flush it out. And the RS unit works as a rock slider. And they even have a heavy duty version for even more rock protection.
Yes I have AMP on my F150 and RS on my Jeep so I can give you valid comparisons.

The problem for us is that the momentary switch is a retrofit since there is no Bronco specific kit, and the switch gets dirty. The moving step parts do great. I doubt mud would interfere with the integrated switch in your F150. That said, those other steps you mention looked way stronger. I'm surprised no one has retrofitted them to a Bronco.
