Anyone have a recommendation on where to find a good rebuild kit? I’d like to take a stab at doing it myself before having to buy a refurbished box. Thanks all.
Mark

Following.
The box in my 66 is pretty shot.
Wouldn't mind tearing into it to see if it can be fixed.
$400 for a rebuilt manual box seems steep.

I've got a box out of a '67 sitting here collecting dust if you need parts.

Not sure how many miles it had when pulled.

I’d definitely be interested in using the box you have collecting dust. Between the two I’m sure I can build it solid. I’m going to give the guys at Tom’s a call in the am to see if they have anything in the form of a kit but if not I’ll be in touch.

Thanks,
Mark

Looking good! My U13 is in the body and paint shop now. Can't wait to get it home? What paint/code did you use on the dash?

Thanks, Rex

32549 Bronco Gray Poly

Okie - I tried the 32549 Bronco Grey Poly and it came out metallic with a green tint. PPG told me that they couldn't pull the code anymore. I probably didn't talk to the right person. TCP Global has an old chip and were able to match it.

Hmm okay, that's what Blue Bastard used on his restoration and it's a perfect match imo. Was able to compare his next to my original gray poly at SC a few years ago.

I’ve found bearings/races that carry over from other Ford products. Seals from Toms. There are a few other parts that if worn out, they’re obsolete.
