Hey anyone know a nice set of 5.0 EFI Valve covers that look real nice? I see all these basic ones and looking for something more custom/clean looking. Thank you

Did you polish yours Viper? Or buy them that way? Mine need some help after all these years - I remember when Ford sold them with a high sheen.

And I like the vintage 351 decal on there - very classy.

I did strip and polish them. It took some time and elbow grease but I like them.

Those turned out great...I'll bet you could make about a buck an hour if you hand polished those and sold them for 150/pair! That takes a lot of time.

Nice...

Here's what I'm using. You'll need a spacer between the lower and upper manifold if you're running an explorer or mustang set up though due to these covers being taller than the stock ones.

I have a set of those Ford racing covers that look just like that and clear the Mustang intake manifolds, and I have roller rockers.

Even better. The valve covers cleared my explorer manifold until I put gaskets under them. There are a couple things i probably could have done to make them work without the spacer such as using a thinner valve cover gasket or some modification to the tubes under the upper manifold. At the end of the day i decided to go with the spacer though. I also went with those covers to clear roller rockers.

here is a pair i modified to fit mine, but i had to put the oil filler in the back due to the intake hitting it on the driver's side. Anybody see any problems with it being on the back other than needing a funnel to add oil? what is the part number on the efi ford script alum ones, all ever find is the notn-efi

So long as you have an oil deflector over the opening for the PVC line you should be OK

I completely understand, its a slippery slope once you start to get away from stock. One modification seems to always lead to another.
