I was looking at these clusters and can’t find much info or feedback. Have you had a chance to install it? Seems like a much more affordable option when compared with a Dakota.
I haven't, didn't see the point until the engine is running.

I'm going to take advantage of Black Friday deals and order either the Painless or American Autowire harness kit. Before I do a search, any reason I should pick one over the other?

Edit- Going with Painless. Looks like WH has the best deal.

65 Mustang radiator with a universal intercooler I've had stashed away. Looks like a winner.

Did some trimming on my oil pan, I think I have enough clearance now and didn't get into anything internal.

Ready to weld if I can find someone. I can only do steel.

Nice job fitting that up. Any competent shop should be able to take care of that pretty easy.
Apparently not. Dropped it off at a fab shop a month ago and hadn't heard anything till yesterday. I got ahold of the guy doing it and he said it's half done but he's struggling with the cast, it's taking too many passes to get a leak free weld and he's concerned about warping.

Welding cast aluminum is a bitch. And if it’s been in use and dirty it’s just that much worse. Need to heat out all the contaminants and get it super clean.

Haven't touched the Bronco now in a while. Picked up my pan from the welder, he hadn't made it very far. Talked to a good friend of mine that said he could do it easily, he just hasn't gotten his welder yet, he used to do side work with the machines at his work and can't anymore. I'm spending all my time on a home remodel so I guess I can wait...

Whooo scored a free top. That's it for EB updates.

I do start a new day job in 2 weeks that is going to give me waaay more time off. I can start chipping away at my many projects at a greater rate.
