Great Build. Been watching for months. I have a 68 Meadowlark yellow U15 with a 351W and NV3550. Running the Fitech and controlling timing as well. Mine runs great but I have lean backfire issue when I get off the throttle. Otherwise it is a great system. I hope to get it figured out soon. You are going to love how it runs!

That reservoir was also used on Ford Super Duty trucks with the 6.0 diesel, same years.

Though I've seen them listed as '03 to '05

If you get one from the junkyard grab the power steering pump too, it is the one with the internal parts that upgrade the Explorer pump.

I used one from an excursion with the 6.0 diesel. It has dual returns, you can see it on the firewall behind the hydroboost.

I guess if I had looked closely enough I would have seen that. I mounted my washer reservoir there and at a glance thought you had too. Looks like you haven't installed the washer reservoir yet though

My washer tank is in there, it is just barely in the right corner of the pic. I used the combo washer overflow tank.

Thanks Rob. I have 2 more in the shop right now, well one is arriving today. Come down any time. I should have mine back from upholstery in the next week or two then it will be mostly finished till I decide to tackle the spare tire carrier I have planned...

Well it is S L O W L Y starting to wrap up. The upholstery is taking forever but you get to see my vision taking shape. I can officially say it is possible to stuff 150# of stuff in a 50# sack... Finally got the AC vents connected and it works beautifully! I am having an issue with my combo coolant tank/washer tank leaking at the washer pump, not sure if there is a fix for it or if I have a bad tank or pump... Just something else to iron out.

And I also got my alignment done today. The machine is not happy with it but it is exactly as I planned it, almost neutral camber and 6* caster makes it a very nice driver.

Can't believe you actually put it in water! Did you go out and check depth first??

Today was a successful test and first time drive on the interstate. She handles amazingly well, feels well planted and just overall, a damn great feeling to be buzzing along at highway speeds. I have a few issues to sort, I am pretty sure I have a tire or two that needs to be rebalanced and I get a rattling noise from my T case shifter I need to figure out how to quiet down. Upholstery is finally coming down the home stretch so it won't be long before I can say she is finished...
