That’s going to be a nice space Brett. I like those curvy ceiling joists.

Ha ha. Yeah I had to make those special.
Tried to get a shot of the entire space but it’s pretty long. It’s about 40 feet wide and 70 feet long. I had to leave a few walls in place to hold up the second floor. Most of it is open and I have some smaller areas to use as storage.

I’ve been tearing out walls and making big door openings in the new place. Lots of triple microlam headers. Old shop in Atlanta was just over 1000 sf. The new place in NC will be just under 3000. Waiting on elechicken to drop in a new service so I can start wiring and locate the lift.

Hey Brett.
A little birdy that flew from North Georgia to South Carolina told me several months ago that you were moving from Atl to maybe near Charlotte. Congrats on the new larger shop! I bet you are glad to be out of Atlanta!...I would be!

Yeah glad to put of that crazy town and thanks! We are out in the country now. Closest grocery store or any store for that matter is about 6 miles away. I like the looks of that concrete apron in front of your shop. Looking forward to gettin back down to Heflin and seeing the progress. We got a lot of work to do here to get my shop set up but the additional sq footage is gonna be great. I’ll finally have enough room to have 3 projects going at once without having to play musical chairs every time I want work on one. My brother is only 30 miles away and has 3 broncos that need some love. As soon as the shop is up and running I’m sure one of those will find it’s way over here.

Helping the neighbor with his '81 Toyota 4WD hunting truck.
BMW electric seats and some sound deadening so far. Hopefully the cab goes to paint next week.

Oh yeah, I hate iphone cameras...

WHEN can i move in?? ;D

Hey Gary! I guess you are keeping Tallahassee going through the Covid 19 arena.

Tasker! You know you have a pass to move right in! I probably need you identifying parts and doing an inventory anyway. When are you coming? The light is on for you!;D;D;D

Rattler got a new rear end this weekend.....a much needed one! The stock 28 spline axles were scaring me! Built a '77 housing, equipped with a 4 pinion limited slip, new gears, (3.50), Timken bearings, and 31 spline alloy axles. Check out the NOS brake shoes!;D

Not even close to as sumptuous as some, but a big part of the joy in the journey for me, I re-decorated the Executive Dining Lounge. Howard, tip-toeing through the tulips in beautiful West Michigan
