NV3550 with Adapter Kit - value?

This NV3550 came installed behind a 351w in a bronco I bought. I pulled it to access the full frame for rust repair and paint with plans of going with a C4 so I have everything needed for our beloved old trucks. I was told the trans is in good working condition,

Any idea on value of the trans with the adapters and cross-member? D20 would not be included…

No idea really.
While the adapter is a known value, assuming complete, the transmission is a complete unknown because you don’t know its history or condition for certain.
If it was a known good one, you could probably get $500 up to $1000 for it.
With an unknown? Maybe 300?

Just an offhand guess though.

This doesn't really help in 2023, but back in 2010 or so I bought this same exact setup from Andrew Norton with Baja Broncos for $1,400. Known good transmission that Andrew drove over 1,000 miles, plus the full adapter kit. He pulled it out of a Baja that he was returning to stock form.

I'd figure the price has dropped over the last 13 years due to the AX-15 becoming the more common swap, but don't know that for sure.

Have you scoured the for sale section, see if any others have sold on here..? Might be a good start. I'm sure some on here would know that will chime in
