thanks for the insight, tim. that's kind of the way I've been leaning, plus it would save me a lot from having to get a set of original inserts and a fender mount mirror.;D
also, one of these days I will get around to joining the registry.

Good, solid project. Keep us posted on your progress. I'd keep the doors without the frames since you already have the original doors. It's correct for your Bronco, it's easier, and it's cheaper!

As if I didn't have enough distracting me from the other build... I go and pull this in. it's been sitting under wrap way too long and wow, I just now realized this is the first time it's actually been inside my garage.
anyhow, figure I can start picking away at the sheet metal work here and there... or at the very least it'll make for a great big bench for storing junk.;D

I take it mom does not get a parking spot in the garage! Keep it up!

tis the season!;D I kept a spot open over the winter to park her car during snow storms... but I think we're fianaly done with those.:-X

after I re arrange things a bit I think I can make enough space to squeeze a car in if I need to do any repairs.

I have a bunch of the wood wheel dollies if you want to use a set for now to make it easier to move around by yourself. They work real slick! And rated at 1000# a piece.

Ha! no billet ones....yet;)

thanks Pete for the offer, I appreciate it. that was my plan to get it mobile in any direction. I believe I have a set for it, got to go look and dig them out. if I can't find them I will let you know and take you up on it.

no real work done to the roadster but I fianally got around to disecting a rusted out 66 front clip I've had sitting around for a while. salvaged the good parts off it, mostly the radiator support and front wheel wells that were in pretty good condition.
