Finishing up a kitchen remodel, time to get back on the bronco. My plan was to go with bay tree green, but not sure I want to change original color (grabber blue). But I am not a fan of white with the blue. The body has been dipped, stripped and dipped in e coat. Would like to see black trim with blue including top.

Thanks DC. that is nice, I was hung up on leaving the fender flares black. What flares are those and how did you paint them.

That’s not mine. That is my inspiration. I’m a LUBR actually. Just started painting mine two days ago.

Those look like the fiberglass flares.

I have black wheels and bumpers. I’m still on the fence on whether to go all black on emblems and roll cage. It looks good, but I don’t know if I want to lose the classic look of chrome. Once I’m painted I will start experimenting. I already painted my old emblems black to see how it looks. I’ll make up my mind when I finish all the blue. I’ll have an argent silver grille when I finish so I’m debating making the roll cage or bumpers argent as well. I just want to see it come together and experiment a little. I’m also thinking about the hockey stick strips in either argent or black. Lots to explore for me.

I’m just getting started. On paint but hope to be done this weekend

I won’t have any white on mine. I’d paint my flares body color for sure.

FYI that grille is argent silver.

Thanks Dog. DC the one on BAT has all black trim. Not digging those black panels on the hardtop.

The black panels don’t do anything for me either.

I love the color. Want to paint my next one Grabber blue. Not sure yet what the other colors I want on it. I like the black flares and other things black with it really.

Hi,

This shade of blue is slightly off (not by much) grabber blue.

The build is about 95%... can add more pictures afterward.

Thanks,

Jeff

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the compliments.

I'm sorry there's not a build thread. Honestly, it's been a real source of frustration between my wife and me.

Your words of encouragement may be just what I need to get motivated to do what I can to finish it.The real goal is to complete it and sell it.

Thanks again.

Jeff

Here's a buddy of mine's just coming home from the paint shop. His flares where white before with stock chrome bumpers. This look is a great improvement.
