We love classic Ford Broncos and have been fortunate enough to be involved in several builds over the past few years. As the shop that provided all of the wiring and tech for the builds, when it came to installing audio, it was always a huge challenge. The customer wanted good sound but didn’t want to cut into their new upholstery kit. Luckily we had some great customers that gave us the freedom to try out ideas on their Broncos, and from that the TPD HiFi Bronco Audio kit was born.

We started with designing a kick panel that fit with the stock parking brake, didn’t cut into the kick panel sheet metal and most importantly, sounded awesome. Mission accomplished.

Since our kick panel kit is designed around the patented Morel Carbon Nano speakers that need a powerful and clean signal, we added a Musway D1S amplifier/DSP combo that is small enough to fit under the dash, keeping the electronics off the floor of the Bronco and out of the elements. We also designed a custom bracket to make under dash mounting simple.

Finally on to the subwoofer to fill out the sound with the low frequencies. We use the Musway SW-A7 Powered 7 inch subwoofer with a custom bracket that mounts under the passenger seat simply by unbolting the front right corner bolts and slipping the sub bracket under the seat and tightening back down.

Finish the install with our custom wiring harness that comes with EVERYTHING you need to finish the installation, event the fuses and grommets! Then take off the top and crank up the tunes in your classic Bronco.

We sure are! Manufactured right here in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Nice! you should include that prominently in your advertisements. I will (as will many others) willfully pay more for US Made.

Cheers,

Can’t see any specs on the amp. Assuming since it’s 4 channel it has enough power to run another pair of speakers in the rear?

Its a 4-channel amplifier but we are using all 4 channels to the Morel Carbon Nano speakers; two channels to the 6 inch midwoofers and two channels to the tweeters. The crossovers for the mids and tweeters are all done in the amp rather than have outboard crossovers. This allows us to use a smaller amp that can fit under the dash. The D1S amp has RCA outputs that could be used to run a set of rear speakers if desired. The amp is around 35 watts per channel (RMS) with these speakers, so 70 watts per side. The customer that let us develop this package on his bronco started off wanting 4 speakers but he couldn't find anything he liked the look of in the rear, after we finished this packed he completely lost interest in rear speakers. But if someone wanted rear speakers to make the folks sitting in the back seat happy its a simple upgrade. If you have a head unit, you could also run the rears off the head unit rear speaker outputs (and still have a fader, yeah!).
