How many miles a year you guys drive your original trucks?

I’m just curious how many miles you guys put on your original trucks each year. The daily drivers don’t count because I would expect you guys are putting on typical yearly mileage. My brother put like 60k in four years  on his 72 daily driver while living in TX... so those don’t count. ;)

As for me and my ‘66 U13 I’m around 400-500 miles as a high... bad year for me might be 150-200 miles. Living in Northeast Ohio with a top and door less truck I might get 4 months of good driving weather. If had a soft top I might gain a couple more driving months.

Both of my kids always want to ride in the Roadster. We’ll take just about anywhere and everywhere we can... it to their ball games or better yet to our favorite ice cream shop! ;D

Please post pictures of your Bronco!

Bought my '67 from the original owner. I've driven it around town maybe half a dozen times this year which is pretty average. I've also taken it camping twice which is unusual. In a typical year maybe 200 - 300 miles. This year I might hit 2,000. Driving it infrequently makes it that much more fun each time I pull it out of the garage.

Ive had the Duck on the road for 3 years now and she is sitting with 21,000 on the ticker. Drive them, they don't like to be abused in the corner of a garage... LOL

We inherited a 74 Ranger in 1999 that was purchased new by my wife’s grandmother. It had around 30K miles on it when we got it. It now has 65K miles. We stopped driving it regularly a few years ago and now limit it to about 200 miles per year to shows and local meet & greets only. It’s a true survivor - not perfect but in too nice of original condition “restore” it.

Living in Portland, and driving a service van forever, maybe 500 miles a year. Now retired in Tucson, three to four times that. It's nice to have the top off 12 months a year instead of 3-4 months.

I just want one "original" street rig so I can join the club :(

Good thread though, nice to see the use folks get out of their classics

I’ve put 6000 miles on one ‘76 since I bought it last October. 2500 since March on my other ‘76 and about 200 on my ‘77 since april

1500 miles so far this year on our '69. It lives at our cabin in the North Woods and has become one of the things I look forward to when we get to the cabin. Taking it to town is always an experience as someone usually wants to talk about it or makes an offer to buy it.

I guess I should get the speedometer fixed so I can tell. I've spent to much time driving it to worry about fixing that:)

I full heartedly agree it’s great to see the Bronco owners driving their trucks. I love owning U13 but by nature it does limit me how much I can drive it. Even in our best months in northeast Ohio there is alway the threat of rain. That is why I want to put a witco back on my Roadster... so I can drive it even more! ;)

I mean, other than the paint, bondo, floors and half-cab, my daily-driver 74 is original. That gets about 10-15 thousand a year

Ok... when I said original I’m thinking a Bronco that isn’t all modified like some of the resto-mods that are out there. Sure a fuel injected, electronic shift overdrive auto, 4 wheel disc, with power steering and brakes is a little more driver friendly then my ‘66 stock 170 with manual: steering, choke, drum brakes, three on the tree. So if your Bronco’s driveline is mostly stock but your truck is been repainted or cut or lifted I would still consider it as “original” per say.

My buddy’s green 74 it’s cut with 2.5” lift 33” tires and it’s has factory power steering and auto. It’s not “original”... original but no way close to a resto-mod so would consider it part of this group like yours would too.
