Last weekend I finally got to do my long awaited shakedown trip in the '72.
Total trip was a little over 100 miles. Up a long steep grade, across the mtn, and back down the other side. Only issue I could find is it's loud inside at 70 mph;D. Held 65 mph across the mtn with ease, drives like a dream. It's a '72 3.5 susp lift, 302 2bbl, 3 spd column shift. I've smiled so much that my gums are drying out. Now off to paint, install the interior stuff, and I'm done(for now). P.S. this will be my new daily driver.

Congrats! Always awesome when a shakedown run go well. Yes, they are loud at 70 mph. Adding a sound deadener when you do the interior will help, but it'll still be a little loud!
