Seems like the 96 Explorer might have a slightly different mass air meter than the other years. Do you know if either of yours are from a '96? Thinking the one on the right in your pic *might* be one?

TIA,
Todd Z.

So I had a couple different ones. I had two Early 97 with gt40 heads (not p heads) and a 98. I used the computer from the early 97 for my conversion so I think one of these is from a 98 and one from a 97.

I will look at the part numbers and get back to you

OK thanks - my harness and PCMs from Garry are set up for a '96 unit (obviously GT-40 heads as well) so I'm guessing if you have something that came from an early '97, it would work for me.

Thanks,
Todd

The meter housings look the same and the part number is the same expect for the 5 digits below the part number

Both TB are set up for the 96'ish air cleaner assembly, odd shaped rubber grommet. Also early style had the 4 prong white plug, instead of the harness plugging directly to the MAF, due to the air cleaner assembly.

OK, thanks Doug. So it appears either one of those would work.

Thanks,
Todd Z.
