I want to, but our deer camp is 6.5 hours away. That's driving 80mph almost the whole way. I don't think it would be a fun trip, especially without the truck being water tight.

These are some pics from last years hunting trips but the first year in a long time that I had the Bronco on the road/bush.

I've been out a couple of times this year but the Bronco hasn't...yet

Pics of a log cabin we came across out on the trail

I like your idea of taking pics of your animals with your Bronco Rockin69er, I'd like to do that as well.

Cool pic with your elk on the back and the head pointing backwards toward the traffic. I've been told that around here, we're not allowed to do that, it might upset the tree huggers and old people. :)

Hell yes. These are the best for hunting. When I was in SD (@25 yrs ago) we hunted all fall for pheasants and deer and I trapped. The only thing that could make the OP's pics better is an awesome woman toting some sort of firearm in one of the front seats. Lots of good memories form the 5 yrs we spent on the Pine Ridge Reservation. I even spent a few nights sleeping in mine @ the Hot springs area hunting for white tails on an aquaintence's ranch. I went through kne deep snow with cheapo mud+snows on it when others were grounded. When Elmer gets Rhinoed and painted I will be using him for hunting also.

I use my bronco for shedhunting all the time. I would love to use it for hunting, but the heater core went on it and I've yet to replace it. So without cab heat I park it for the fall and winter. Love the pics with the elk on the back. Hey, if anyone is willing to drive their Bronco up north, I would love to host a hunt!!

Around here people will follow just to get a better look!!! That thing drove like the SS Minnow with that much weight back there. 35mph tops.

I did have a gray haired old lady try to tear down my pop up blind this year WITH ME AND THE WIFE IN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rockin96er, it looks like if you were to tap on the throtle, you would have gotten the front tires off the ground easily.

Laker, I only live 4 hours south west of you. I used to hunt up in the Conklin area north of Christina Lake.

My heater core went on me last fall and it sat all winter so I did the heater upgrade and installed a new heater core this summer and so far its been working great, didn't take long to do either.

You have a nice looking rig there. Not too many Broncos in AB. Just wondering what the heater upgrade is and where you got it and the heater core at?
I was working up at Conklin for a few days at the begiining of the season and seen a lot of hunters and no game. The best moose hunting in Ab right now is the prairie zones, going back there for gun opener, missed a beaut with bow.

Bronco was the only thing that would drive down into a duck hole in 2' of water in this gumbo and come out. No pictures, because it would be too incriminating.

Hell yes We use our Broncos for hunting.
.. Just this evening I killed a coyote out of the window of my Bronco 25-06 . & Taco watched as I shot him. Last 3 things I've shot Taco has just watched and not made a sound . He too is getting into hunting out of the Bronco. Of course he has the ''DOG Bird seat'' as I built him the Doggy side car to ride & spot the game for me.
...About a week ago Taco & I shot a pig. And last week we saw a whole covey of Quail ''12'' .. at one of the farm gates. We no longer see many Quail.
..1st pic is me an Running Buddies Bronco hunting at the ranch in N Mexico. 2nd is Him & his Bronco . 3rd is us loaded up leaving the ranch .. Stopping to get throught the cattle pins & Gate Maze .. 4th is ... BRONCO Tx. last town in Texas before we cross over the border into New Mexico. 5th is Taco riding side car & doing his part in spotting something for me to shoot at. 6th is Antelope at bottom side of New Mexico 5000 ft. Top of the ranch is 7000 ft . 7th is my Bronco 4BT as we were planting some grain this year for deer hunting.
.. I'll look again for one of my Bronco in N Mexico .... OK Last picture is my Bronco at the ranch in N Mexico .. I'm hide back in that old cedar tree .my Bronco still had the gas engine then .
