Do I need to brace the tub with the hard top on

I am going to replace kick pannes, hinge post, and floor pans in a few weeks. I know I should brace the tub before removing the kick pannels and door post but I will have my hard top on and bolted on. Will this provide enough support or should I still brace it?

Depends on how much work you want afterwards. I didn't brace anything on mine and I removed the kick panels and door posts and left it that way for over a year. Once I got around to replacing the pieces, I just hooked a couple of come-alongs onto the cowl and pulled it up into the proper position. Wasn't too bad.

Probably a good idea to brace. The roof attached to the windshield isn't a real solid connection, neither is the windshield to cowl. Lot of room for things to start flopping around.
