Grill white, tire carrier body color and white flares always looks good, as long as it is not UT Orange :p

I don't think it was until 77 that some of the grills came black

X2 on what Rev said.
The silver (argent) grills were on Ranger Pkg.
76-77 special decor paint pkg had black grill and color matching top with a special stripe.

cjpony,

Welcome to the Bronco Explorer Club!

Ever since I bought my '76 Explorer I have become obsessed with everything-Explorer even though I have owned over a dozen EBs since 1979.

Here are some stock photos of '73 orange Explorers:

Become a contributor and post some photos for us to see or you can email them to me to post at bobtailbronco@gmail.com

The last two photos are of a front license plate/t-shirt design a good friend here on the board has been helping me conceptualize that we hope to produce in the near future. Let me know what you think!

Welcome to the wonderful world of Bronco ownership! I agree with Revelation as far as paint.

I'm an obsessed Explorer owner like Mac2Night, and although mine is a '76, the '73 orange is my favorite! So here is a second welcome to the Explorer club!

Mac, I need one of those shirts when they get printed. Just let me know. ;)
