I am shopping for my explorer swap, the bronco graveyard has the adapter 11325
(advance adapters part number
50-2704e) on sale for $535 and the twin stick for the dana 20 j shift 11570 on sale for 115.00
I want to make sure im getting the correct parts
I bought a 140,000 mile 2000 v8 explorer 4x4 that runs and drives nicely and I want to put it in my 77 bronco.
My question is;
are drive shaft modifications necessary either adapter I use ?
Reading the graveyards description of the adapter leads me to believe that if I use the one listed above it only increases the drive train length 3/8 "
Any help I can get is greatly appreciated

Yes, you need to modify both drive shafts. The Explorer 4R70w trans is 1 1/2” longer than the stock C4, or manual 3 speed.

By far the best info I have found is when I simply entered the adapters part number
"50-2704e" in te search box
