Well, if anyone thinks the Bronco bubble has burst, or at least has a leak, we sure didn't see it this week at B-J. The Maxlider 4 door closed at $434K with all the fees last night. Today we had another local one go for over $400K. Numerous ones over $200K and plenty in the $100-$150K range. Even one of the lousiest ones hit $75K.

What is wrong with this one that it's "only" going for 40?

Serious question. What would need to be done to my 70 to all but guarantee selling it for $100K.
Thinking entire new body/frame, decent paint. I already have 44 disk front, HB brakes, 79 steering box/sag pump, 302 HO with GT 40 heads (I will be adding sniper, even if I kept it), 77 9" w/ rear disk. I assume a T-18/435 would have to be upgraded to some kind of 5 speed. Is air pretty much mandatory to get in the $100K range, what about a hard top?

I don't really want to sell, but it becomes tempting if I could clear 60ish, adding 40ish to what I already have. I realize I may never get another one again. But flipside is I will have a half way decent body and frame left over, just in case.

I'm digging the normally chrome body moldings being black. Has me thinking especially with my black hard top and bumpers

No, I figured he saw the word "wagon" and the word "station" immediately popped into his head uninvited the way these word association things will. Craziness going on throughout. Anything with some history was seeing crazy action.

This was another fail that I was directed to on Saturday by my friend Jake at MontanaBroncos. An otherwise beautiful 2nd Gen truck that sold for $115K. The exhaust guy needs to be re-assigned to another task though. He/she ran the exhaust pipes out the back between the frame rails and the leaf springs. On the pass side there was about 3/4" of clearance between the spring and the pipe and on the driver's side, about 3/8" clearance. One good trip over the speed bumps at the mall and those pipes are gonna get smacked! Thankfully, I don't think the truck will ever have the suspension exercised in any of its travels.

I didn't get a chance to look at this truck closely last weekend but I did on Saturday and my goodness, what a hot mess. As soon as I looked at it closely, I realized it was a truck that was bid to $41K on BaT a few months ago. I was shocked to learn it sold for $66K yesterday. So much wrong with this truck, I don't even know where to start! Frankly, I don't think I'd want to operate this thing on a public road.

I have to say I've never seen a rear shackle flip like this on an EB before. And the S-shaped rear leafs are a nice touch.
