I doubt it. That DOHC makes for a lot of stuff on top of the deck height of the block. Now that engine is a 60° engine so it is even taller than a 90° V8. It's amazing how tall most of the modern engines really are.

I've been around several 4bt, I'm a huge diesel fan but those are just too loud for a vehicle with zero noise insulation. Add that noise, road noise and wind noise and it was a bit much.

lol, all about preference right..

I'd like to see someone do a V10 TDI. I won't get around to it until retirement.....
