Looks good!

Ar you going to rebuild the front with aftermarket stuff, or tube it?

Im most likely going to put aftermarket sheetmetal back on, but i dont know for sure yet. If i did make a tube front end it would have some sheet metal to keep the mud out, that is a big concern for me cause i like to play in the mud alot.

The last month or so i have gotten alot done on the bronco. Mostly little things like hooking up pedals, linkages, the heater, ect. I did manage to put on new front inner fenders and outer fenders. It was about twice as bad as my floor pans in terms of time consuming and difficulty, but i knew what to expect. The main thing was getting everthing lined up. I had the hood on to line stuff up but i took it off for now for ease of access to the engine compartment. I also painted the inner fenders the color i i'll paint the body, its a charcoal grey color. I painted the radiator support flat black so you wont see it behind the grill. I took one pic beside my pickup to show how much higher the bronco set. Its funny because i used to get questions, "how much is that truck lifted?'' ect. (its stock hieght) When they see the bronco there going to be calling a monster truck. (or monster jeep)

Thought i would update again, I'm getting it close to being ready to run. I have been doing quite a few little things but its comming together. IT has lights in it now front and rear. I put 66 tail lights in because it looks cleaner with the reflector as part of the lense insted of down below it. I will use white LED's mounted in the bumper for reverse lights. I have my new seats in. They are Procar elites in the front and a fold and tumble rear seat and they are really comfortable. I also have my 79 ford Truck tilt column mounted. I also have my exhaust in, it was done by BC Bronco's and they did a truly great job! While i was there I picked up a new dash because i want a custom layout. If you look close in the pics you can see where everything will be. So far the only things i need to do to actually be able to start it up and have it driveable are to get a windshield, do the wireing, and finish my dash.

Another update, it runs as of today. I finished my painless install. I have a few bug to work out with it but the important stuff works. I started it up pretty easily and broke in the cam. I did have a small fire becasue my oil pressure gauge line contacted the header and burnt a hole in it. I also have few other things like a bad starter that i need to replace and leaky valve cover gaskets. (sucks cause its all new parts.) I also cut the fenders since last pics. I know some will cringe at this but in my opinion it looks 100 times better. I will get it cleaned up and take some more pics later, the whole front of it is covered in oil right now.

Looking very very good! Sucks about the oil line - I'm going to run copper to my line from the get go...

Like the cut rear fenders - it looks nice uncut - but so unbalanced compared to the front..

Ive gotten a lot more done to make it look better, I got my bumpers and tire rack mounted and also the tube doors. I didnt like the way the front bumper mounted so i cut the mounts off and raised them 2 inches. (lowered the bumper.) I lost ground clearance but it looks better because it doesnt sit in front of the grill. I will use the winch mount area for storage since i wont be putting a winch on it. On the rear bumper i mounted my LED reverse lights (only thing that sucks is they are amber and not white, but they are plenty bright to see by) I mounted the tube doors and some nice mirrors on them and got rid of the temporary mirrors i had. Now all that is left body wise before i paint it is the side marker lights (they are the same as what i have on the back for reverse lights but i have to add resistors to dim them dowm.) I also added a tool box behind the seat so i can lock up some of my bigger stuff. It is an underbody box for a flatbed but i turned it on its side and it fits perfect.

Not much new except for i put my lightforce lights on the front bumper. These will probably be the last pics of it before paint, i hope to take it to the body shop in the next 2 weeks. I also put in a semi "action" pic of when i was in Del Rio over July 4th. It was cool because the Bronco was at its original home.
