Haven't been able to do much these last few weeks.. Holidays and rain got in the way. Although good news, the speedo finally came in!!, I have a quick snippet of our new Dakota digital speedo. I'll have better pics when time permits. But, here's a sneak peak of what it looks lit up.

Love it. Does it stay lit up while driving with the headlights off?

Thanks, yes it does. like daytime running lights, but for a speedo. Lesser amount of light.

Got some more work done yesterday while fighting a cold... I was able to mock up the atlas, but I'm not happy with how low it hangs down. So, I'll be moving that up on tues. In the meantime I started working on my skid plate and crossmember design. I also realized that I need a atlas support ring . I could probably fab it on my own, but I'm lazy and tired..lol. I'll look into a few designs and pick one. I also finished up my upper frame rear brackets. Here's some pics:

You can see it peaking out about 3" lower than the frame..

Had good progress this week. I was able to finish up the rear upper brackets, I mocked up the atlas II transfer case ( I ended up only going 1 step higher, too much work and not enough time to notch the frame ), I lost the custom crossmember that I bought 2 years ago for the 6R80.. So I fab'd my own!!. I'm still learning how to bend pipe, but I think it turned out pretty good?! What do you guys think? I'm gonna clean it up with the grinder and move on.

Ok, I'm exhausted.. I was able to power through 9 straight hours of work. Here is the rear 4 link all tacked up and ready to cycle. I wasn't able to cycle it since it was super late and delirious. I think I measured everything about 50 times before I made a decision. Final rear numbers are: wms 94", upper's 26.5", lower's 38" giving me 70% AS. The rear was way easier than the front..

Here are some night shots, since it was actually night time when I finished. After I cycle this, it's time for the roll cage and suspension tying into it. Wish me luck!

Just curious is there a lot of load on that pipe with four link? How do you know it will handle it? Looks very nice

Yeah...this is a push/pull system...I'm deciding if I want to gusset it from front or back with tube out as far as you can or st least tie it into the skid plate or both. That's my next project with the cage

I don't know if you guys can see it, but I screw up on tacking the xmember to the crossbar. It's not all the way on properly, I'll have to remove tacks and reweld it. Ugh!! That's what I get for rushing.
