    Which Fuel Injection Kit, Holley, Fitech?

    a have fitech on my fresh rebuilt 351w in my 73 Bronco mine runs great,no problems.just had it out trailriding last weekend. have a sniper my 83 Hurst Olds. a little more of a pain to work with as far as the ignition set up.

    What have you done to your Bronco today?

    1st start up with fi-tech system.little priming,fired right up. Ran it for a bit, adjusted idle .runs good, Got better the longer it ran. Pouring rain,so no test drive tonight

    I tried replacing the steel rear tank on my 1973 with a replacement plastic that was supposed to fit.dont know if it was a bad batch but fitment was terrible. sent it back and got the steel one.fits just like it should. the original one lasted 43 years .showed a little rust under the strap but...

    It was aftermarket made to replace the steel. Narrower and shorter. Sent it back for steel replacement, fits like it should. Maybe i had a bad one.all is good now

    bronco is a 73,purchased plastic replacement for that style tank is narrower and shorter. fitment between rear frame rail braces is bad. thinking of calling about exchange for steel one on Monday. not an off road bronco any more or winter driven anyway

    Engine install

    Last time I did it,I put the trans and case in first. Had them attached,with tcase xmember on a transmission jack and lifted onto the xmember frame brackets which I left on the frame.braced things up and then engine. With a friend's help and of course not that easy

    looks like I`m going to rebuild one. 351w from 92 f350.i did this before with an older 351w (1973) on a different bronco does anyone know if the older timing covers are interchangeable ? I know about the oil pan and ps and alt brackets. anything else I need to change over

    Twin Cities mn I have a good shop in mind,kind of feeling out options. My other Bronco is a 351 also.built about 15 years ago. Stock heads, nice cam, perfomer plus intake.worked okay but would like more power this time. Thanks for the input

    going to put 351W in my wheelin Bronco. anyone know of a place for a good performance crate motor or just rebuild my core ? I see a few places out there for crates but don't know anything about them. Ford racing just has stroker motors now days. as fun as that would be ,I don't need to go that...

    FiTech - What we have learned : Tips and Tricks

    it looks to measure about 3/8 which is the minimum they want you to run with.I received an answer from the guys at wild horses. told me i could use it also. I'm going to go ahead and run with that. thanks for responding

    I putting this system on my driver bronco,its a mild 351w. using the fitech frame mounted pump and filters. are people using the stock fuel pickup or going a different route. instructions say using smaller hose not recommended but don't come out and say no. thanks for any feedback
