My '66 Halfcab. Long way to go on the body but it runs and drives.

You win on the alum. bumper. That is a big WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks....Yes I wanted something a little different from what you always see and I didn't want to cover the front with a winch up in the grill, so this is what I came up with. The bumpers are made of 6061 .500" plate and 6061 6" .375" wall and 1.75" pipe (Grill guard). The front bumper weights 62 pounds without the winch. The rear is an air tank complete with a coupler for a hose and a guage. When I get the mud from the hunting club cleaned off, I will try to get better photos. I started polishing them for a little "bling" ('cause this Bronco needs all it can get) but haven't finished the front.

See a 78/79 in that fleet as well. I wish I still had mine.

Good eye there joshua! Yes, its a '78 that was special ordered here in our hometown. I'm the 3rd owner and know both previous owners well. The original owner has asked me several times about buying it back, but he wants me to give it to him! He has told me several times that it had every available option in '78 except for the factory CB. It is in the restoration process......so much to do and so little time!

Paint don't matter, nice rig.

Here she is as I rescued her from an aluminum plant, that was about to be demolished, and who knows what would have happened to her. She has 44,000 original miles, second owner, never been off the mill site and never been offroad. She was "used" as a fire truck and a power plant for the pumps on the sluice ways. She had a PTO and gearbox hangin out front, notice the tach and pto cable in grille, so the engine and trans were worn out. Hauled her to work, charged battery and drove her home. Some pics of the clean up, I vacuumed five gallons of aluminum dust out of her, and how she looks now, except she has a full cage and I sold the half cab top for what I paid for her.
She is getting some upgrades right now, and a paint job soon...
