Another thought to throw out there, hide the cast votes and percentages. People tend to gravitate towards whichever has the most votes already, it's like that with any poll. The more votes that are cast, the greater the influence the previous votes have on the outcome. The first 10-20 voters pretty much set the stage for the end result.

I'm with Okie, no votes or tabulations until after the final date. This is not a race, and I agree that the 1st people to vote tend to make the rankings that follow. People like to be on a winning team. I personally will not vote for another barn picture, and I prefer Bronco out in the wild.
