This 68 was baking in the Nevada desert for a looong time. The whole truck especially rockers and jambs are about as clean as I have seen. Lurking under the rattle can red is a pretty sky blue and it may be able to be brought back like I did the Boxwood one. Stay tuned!

Wow! It looks very solid! Dry climates definitely help them from rusting in the seams of the body! You are right, that red might wipe right off!

question- Did anyone notice or know why there are two key holes on the drivers door? Or is that just my eyes playing games on me?

Good eyes, it has a couple of strange things including tire carrier hinges on both sides. It is a really straight original truck but like all of them, they were used and changed. No idea what the other key was for unless it was an alarm of some type.

Tested a spot on the hood today and the Beautiful Sky Blue is peeking through!
