Roll bar for soft top

For St Paddy's day, I thought I would reward myself with a new soft top for Berta ('74 Bronco). Last night I found these Spider Web Shade soft tops and read a lot of excellent reviews (https://www.spiderwebshade.com/jeep-products/jeep-type/jk-4-door/jk-4d/).

However, I have two issues:

1.) My interior roll bar does not go around the door frame
2.) My windshield wiper motor housing looks to be in the way to mount this soft top to the front window.

Do I need a new roll bar set-up or is there something else I can utilize to support the web shade? What about the wiper motor housing?

Pictures are attached and help is needed. Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

Not sure that jeep top would work, but a soft top for a bronco needs a lowering bracket for the wiper motor, and a header bracket which is bolted to the holes in the windshield, you then stretch the soft top over the header panel and then roll it over you're roll bar to the rear.I noticed that in the vendors section they are selling them for $595,not a bad price,I paid that for my rampage top.HTH.

My BESTOP has a riser (header bracket) and no need for the wiper motor dropdown, but yeah, someway somehow you gotta create some room there.

Yeah, I'm with jmangi, I'm not sure the Jeep top will work bud. I'm sure our vendors have something comparable but designed for an EB.

Is it possible to install a 6 point roll bar with the original doors installed?

FWIW, I don't see any reason you can't buy that exact top and MAKE it work with your bronco as is. There is no requirement to secure it above the door, it will simply flap a little, depending on how tight you get it between the windshield and the front hoop of your rollbar. You should also be able to lay it right over the top of the wiper motor. I don't expect the motor arm to contact the top, but if it does, a small piece of metal could be bent to provide clearance, you will simply have a hump in the top where the motor pokes up, similar to how the speaker bar is seen from above on the jeep.

Yea, you can install a 6 point, fully welded, with the doors on.

Thank you lonesouth. The flapping may not be that bad and it sure would save money on another roll bar configuration.

after thinking about it, i doubt it would even flap at speed. the airflow around the bronco is such that air goes around the windshield and comes back up from the rear. if you see a jeep or bronco going down the road with a soft top, you will see the front is puffed up because of this pressure.
