So I'm getting ready to build a roll cage for my bronco. I need pics and ideas for rock sliders.

The cage will be tied into the frame and to the rock sliders. The rockers on my bronco are in good shape, no rust that I am aware of. The bronco has about 3.5" of suspension lift and a 2" body lift.

Post up your pics and suggestions..... GO!

Thanks falcon. That is an option.

I am looking for for custom rock sliders that can be tied into the frame. I know some folks have cut their rockers off and added 2x6 tubing for a rock slider. I think something more along those lines. Not sure yet if I am going to cut the stock rockers off or not.

So I wanted to see the different variants of sliders people have made over the years.

Mine are built out of 2x6 tubing like the second thread Dave posted. Welded onto the body but mine stretch from the tail end of the front tire all the way back to the opening of the rear tire to protect the body a bit more.

Here is how I did mine, tied into the A pillar and many other places underneath as well as welded to where the rockers were.

Here are the best pictures I have of mine. This is with a 1" body lift. <EDIT> and with the rockers cut completely up to the floor. Jake
