Reproduction grill fit or lack of

I'm fitting higher-end aftermarket front fenders and have had to cut them up and reshape various details on both ends and along the top inside edge where they bolt down. That to match an original gill and other body interfaces. Still not perfect..but much closer than where I started.

I wonder if the aftermarket grill matches the aftermarket fenders... :p

Ditto. Besides having to shave about 1/2 inch off the bottom corners as they ran past the rocker and the grill, I had to cut the spot welds out along the top and shift the piece with the bolt holes down between 1/4" and 5/8".
