Getting ready to pull my motor and drop the final one in. Have a 4r70w that I got from an explorer. Seems to shift great over the first 300 miles, but its of unknown condition.

Leave it alone? Put a new one in? Hate to throw away money but not that easy to get to again for 140 bucks.... WWYD?

I would leave the convertor alone unless I were to go through the transmission. They generally don't have issues.
