ok makes sense now , has a RJM under hood harness.

Maybe you can answer my next question what are the other 2 plugs for? did they become obsolete with the RJM harness, they don't look like they have ever been plugged in?

What do they look like? I have a spare plug on my '73. It is a 4 pin square connector that isn't connected to anything and doesn't appear to have been.

That 4 pin is the nss and backup light plug. On a standard shift there will be a loop instead of a nss connection. Warning. Bronco will not start without the nss loop. I racked my brain for 5 daysbefore i finally figured it out that i hadnt plugged it back in
