• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

I enter lots of raffles with intent to sell the prize. if it's something I have no interest in...??? I wouldn't hold on to it forever waiting to get top dollar, but I'd have no problem turning a $10 ticket into $200 or maybe $1000 quick cash. Someone might buy something worth $10,000 real cheap when I win...

the real problem here is that I never win.

For instance, I have a FB friend who has a tandem axle peterbuilt racecar hauler he's raffling off. $100/number. He's selling 200 numbers of your choice....or trying to. When the last one sells he'll draw a number from the hat and for the $100 entry (or whatever he spends buying numbers), the winner owns the truck. (I really think this is illegal. Not sure tho. But I've seen it done a lot lately in the local racing scene.)

and it's funny... that truck was built for the owner of Twin Peaks, which is where we had our Meet and Greet in Dallas last week. But I didn't see any mountains, so I'm not sure why it's called Twin Peaks... **sarcastic thinking face**

It would take a lot to get it to pass smog...

Probably why they are selling it. It will have to sell out of state however. Seller responsible to get a smog cert. No mention of the title, likely open...

Do normal States also have smog laws? I was thinking this rig is fine anywhere out of California.

That depends on the State and the county... they are not the same. Some states say that it is too old and it falls off the smog radar... but not here in CA.

It still has a Texas plate on it... I am guessing the Owner discovered how much $$ he would have to spend to try and find / install all the smog pieces...

Add some doors and fix the slant on the windshield, she'd be a nicer rig. But, that's just my opinion.

The smog issue is no biggie. I have a guy (wink...wink).

It would need smog equipment in Colorado if in a smog check area (however normal you may think CO is).
If it was a 1975 it would not if it was Collector plated but a 1976 still needs to pass even with Collector plates.

We have zero emissions tests, zero yearly inspections of any kind of non commercial vehicles. If it starts, and can pull out on the road, you're good to go here lol. Tag, insurance still required of course, but no safety or emission inspection.

In Georgia, only about 12 counties, out of 159, require any testing. This year they only tested 1993-2014 model year gasoline powered vehicles. Older vehicles, and all diesels are exempt.
