Just had a few questions, since i want to try to tackle installing a sound system myself. Never done anything electrical like this before. This is what i bought:

• Kicker 11HS8 Hideaway Compact 8in... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LXDIEBP/?tag=classicbroncos-20

• Kicker 46CXA3604T 360 Watt RMS 4... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZTB7WRG/?tag=classicbroncos-20

• KICKER 51KSC3504 Coaxial Speaker... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CRLFV2G2/?tag=classicbroncos-20

• TOPSTRONGGEAR 4 Gauge Amp Kit... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WTTV19N/?tag=classicbroncos-20

• BOSS Audio Systems BVCP9700A Car... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08N5LXNY4/?tag=classicbroncos-20

So with the products i bought, is it ultimately making holes for the speakers in various areas, plug everything accordingly and just give the unit power via car battery? I really feel like there isnt much to it, but im inexperienced. Also how does the system get power via battery?

I won’t touch on the custom installation as my approach will be different from yours based on goals, mounting preferences, skills and tools.

There are actually 2 power connections you’ll need to make to the head unit.

Constant power keeps the clock current and saves the presets. That circuit is generally low amperage and won’t actually drive the stereo system.

Switched power operated the stereo only with the ignition in either the “on” it “ACC” positions.

Otherwise, ground it, hook up an antenna, connect speakers and enjoy some music.

You'll have to figure out where you want to mount everything and how to get the wires where you need them. 4 gauge wiring for your 8" sub/amp combo is way overkill for the 10amps max. it uses. It looks like Kicker actually provides all the wiring you will need in the box. You will have to route the main power wire from the amp all the way to the battery (or the start relay terminal on the fender that connects to the battery - don't forget the fuse, and don't bypass or delete the fuse).

Your head unit (the Boss radio) will need a constant power source and a switched power source, plus ground. It looks like the stock radio only has the switched power wire (hot in Run & Acc). You will have to add a constant 12V wire (also make sure this has a fuse). There will be a blue wire that you connect from the radio to the Kicker sub/amp combo. This is called the remote 12v turn on wire. It signals to the Kicker amp when to turn on and off. You also need to connect the RCA pair from the radio to the sub. The head unit will have the 4 pairs of wires for the speakers. Dimmer wire (usually orange, it dims the radio display when the headlights are on) is optional. If you want it to work, tap into a bulb wire that turns on with the headlights.

The rest of it is wire routing and mounting the radio and speakers. This will be the majority of your time.

Edit:
I missed the 2nd amp. You will use the 4ga wire to run from the battery to that amp. Turn on wire from the radio will run to both this amp and the sub.

Curious to see if you pick up any RF interference when done. Hoping not, but that is a gremlin in mine I need to evict.

Are you putting that sub underneath the rear seat? I've been looking at the same one...let us know how it sounds!
