Lokar Shifter Linkage style, NOT CABLE* Mounting location * 4R70

Hey guys, looking to see where others have mounted a Lokar LINKAGE type shifter for a 4R70. Looks like the only place that it will work efficiently is next to the driver's seat, down on the floor below/behind the tunnel about 3-4" back from where the tunnel meets the floor.

Column shift works great.

I could not get the solid rod to work anywhere. I went with the cable floor shift.
